HERSHEY, PA -- The Atlantic Division Semifinal of the 2016 Calder Cup Playoffs is slated to go the distance after the Hershey Bears defeated the Portland Pirates on Saturday night to even up the series at two games apiece.
The decisive Game 5 of this series will be played on Sunday, May 1 at 5:00 PM.
“We’re going home either way,” Pirates Head Coach Scott Allen said. “We’re either going home on a happy bus or we’re going home extremely disappointed and certainly feeling like we let one slip away if that happens.”
The Pirates were held without a goal in 2-0 loss to the Bears in Game 4, which came just two days after Portland’s thrilling 2-1 victory in triple overtime in Game 3.
